Of particular interest in the area is the restored monastery of 'Agii Anargyri, now used as a spa resort known as Secret Forest. The monastery was built in 1649 and was among the first to be built on the island. It was founded by two brothers who cared for the sick and dying without payment, leading to the monastery acquiring its name, from the Greek meaning "without payment". Today can enjoy the therapeutic treatments of the spa resort at a reasonable fee (please ring or visit the resort for rates) while staying in one of our villas in the immediate area at a fraction of the cost of staying in the spa resort itself.

Great family or large group villa with plenty of facilities very comforatble, Theo the owner was always around to deal with any issues, though we had none. Great base from which to explore the region with loads of local amenities within walking distance.

The villa was exactly how it looked on the photos, very beautiful with a lot of character and in great condition. The pool was lovely and very clean. There was a watermelon and lots of other fruit along with local wine waiting for us which we really enjoyed. The owner Theo was absolutely brilliant to deal with and very accommodating to our needs. Had a great time and would highly recommend it.
The villa is a traditional stone construction. This means that it is naturally cool and does not need air conditioning except when the day time temperatures exceed 40 degrees. Even then we survived with the use of the fans in the evening. This is a fantastic villa, possibly the best we have stayed in, and is very convenient for the tavernas in the village. The BBQ facilities are great and we had many meals around the pool.

This is our second visit to the villa, and there couldn't be a more peaceful spot for a lazy holiday. The owners were helpful, and we loved picking produce from the garden to accompany our nightly bbqs. The village has enough restaurants to visit on foot and the local shop was very friendly. This is a real Cypriot village and a typical stone villa and we loved every minute of it.

Out of the tourist area and peaceful yet within easy reach of Polis. Fourth visit to Cyprus and have to say the location and Villa is the best.
We will recommend to family and friends.

We were a party of 7 adults and 2 children from 11 months to 80 years old staying here and the villa was spacious enough for everyone. You could have the holiday you wished, lazy or as a base for travelling. The villa is in a quiet village with friendly locals, 2 small shops, couple of inns and 3 or 4 tavernas, which you will need to book as they are very popular. From the villa it is easy access to anywhere on the island, but you will need a car. The villa was just as described, gorgeous and the owner very helpful, the welcoming pack he left came in very handy for our first day there. I would recommend Villa Constanteras to anyone.

Most liked: It's so pretty. There are two really good tavernas in the village, serving excellent local food. We will definitely return!! A really characterful villa.
other comments: We had a lovely holiday. Kathikas is a good location being away from it all but within 20 minutes of many places. We thought the villa was really pretty and so conveniently situated within the village.
