At an altitude of 700 meters the village offers spectacular views of the Akamas National Reserve, the picturesque Chrysochou Bay and the Troodos mountains.
Dhroushia has a small supermarket, a bank and a few restaurants. All other amenities available in Polis and Latchi has superb fish restaurants. A hotel spa is 10 mins walk away from the village centre.
