Anarita is a village in Paphos district, located 12 kilometers away from the city of Paphos, on the northeast. The village is built almost 105 meters above sea level.The village of Anarita is located just 1.2kms from the main motorway that has access to both Paphos and Limassol. Paphos Airport is just 7kms away. The village sports tavernas, kafenions (traditional coffee shops), a kiosk and supermarket. Coast/Beach
There are several places to swim within 15 minutes' drive from the village. The beach used by many Anarita residents is Timi Beach about 10 minutes away. Here there is a beach cafe with great views in both directions along the coast and crystal clear water, where you may be lucky and see a turtle. The unspoilt coast at Mandria, also 10 minutes drive away and is great for walking. Further away are Pissouri to the east and to the west Geroskipou, Paphos and the popular sandy beach at Coral Bay.
Golf
Golf is a major attraction in the area with three 18 hole courses within a 15 minutes drive.
Secret Valley offers an 18 hole championship course in a spectacular setting in a scenic valley surrounded by mature trees and beautiful sculpted rock formations, Aphrodite Hills boasts the magnificent 18 hole championship golf course designed by acclaimed course architect, Cabell B Robinson and the newly opened Elia Golf Course which was designed by Nick Faldo.. Minthis Hills is about 30 minutes away.
The high season for golf in Cyprus is mid February to the end of May, and mid September to the end of November.
Travel
Paphos airport is 10 minutes drive away. Year round flights come here from all over the UK and many places in Europe. Larnaca airport is 75 minutes away along the motorway with flights to here from Europe and the Middle East. Car hire is recommended from one of the many providers serving the airports to make the best of this rural location.
The quiet village environment is an excellent base for your visits to the hustle and bustle of the busier tourist spots in the area.
